BG-500 TWO COMPONENT EPOXY GROUTING GLUE 2:1
Product Description
Product Detail
1. Epoxy Resin
At the heart of epoxy grout lies the epoxy resin, a robust compound derived from a meticulous combination of epoxide monomers. These monomers, possessing reactive oxygen atoms, undergo a transformative process when exposed to the hardener. This reaction, often referred to as curing, initiates the creation of a three-dimensional polymer network within the epoxy resin.
2. Hardener
The hardener, a critical component in the epoxy grout recipe, typically comprises amines or amides. This carefully selected blend of chemicals acts as a catalyst, instigating the curing process by interacting with the epoxide monomers in the epoxy resin. As this chemical marriage unfolds, a cross-linked molecular structure forms, leading to the development of a dense and non-porous material.
3. The Chemical Symphony
The culmination of the epoxy resin and hardener interaction produces a chemical reaction, yielding a material that is dense and non-porous. This characteristic is fundamental to the effectiveness of epoxy grout in heavy machinery foundations.
4. Scope of application
Concrete component wet external steel plate reinforcement, bridge and other components of large-area steel plate pouring and bonding steel reinforcement;
Concrete cracks (1-5mm), internal defects (honeycomb, holes) grouting repair;
Anchor bolts, equipment bottom plate secondary grouting, epoxy resin self-leveling floor construction.
5. Instructions for use
Key points of wet-type steel plate filling and grouping construction:
Preparation work before pouring and pasting → drilling holes on the steel plate → drilling holes in the corresponding positions in the concrete → surface treatment → fixing the steel plate → leaving vent holes → preparing BG-700 sealant to seal the periphery → preparing BG-500 pouring and pasting steel structure adhesive → pressure pouring → curing → inspection → anti-corrosion treatment.
6. Precautions
The construction environment should be ventilated and dry, and the pasting surface should be clean and oil-free
The curing temperature should not be lower than 5℃, and the curing time should not be less than 3 days when the ambient temperature is 20-25℃, and the curing time should not be less than 7 days when the average temperature is 10℃
Protective equipment such as gloves, masks, and goggles must be worn during construction
If it accidentally gets on the skin or clothes, it can be cleaned with acetone and rinsed with plenty of water
If it is eaten or splashed into the eyes, seek medical attention immediately
7. Transportation and storage
This product is a non-hazardous product and is transported as a general chemical
Groups A and B should be stored separately to avoid mixing
Do not expose to the sun, rain or invert during transportation
This product should be stored dry at room temperature below 25℃, with a storage period of 12 months.
8. Packaging Specifications
